Alex and Tarini first met in Bombay in October of 2012.

The very first proposal came the night they met. In the middle of a nightclub, after an evening of lively political debate over the egregiously loud music, Alex realised he had found his match and asked Tarini to marry him. He then asked for her number...

Over time, this friendship blossomed into the relationship we celebrate today, which has traversed five cities and three continents -- and we've now finally settled together in London.

After a surprise proposal in the Maldives six years after meeting, we've decided to take the plunge where we fell in love.
